Summer vacation is over for many college football staffs. BCS to D3 schools are starting back up this coming week. lot of time away room home away from family. Total commitment.
After a 4 day trip this week to the UP in Michigan, McCallister has to get back to the serious work of scouting high school football players in Ohio. Done right – it is a lot of fun, but a lot of commitment.
Camps, with the exception of Friday Night Lights at Ohio State, are over. Still some 7on7 tournaments out there. But for the most part, high school football players are saying “good-bye” to summer. Their high school team and coaching staff needs a commitment from every player and support staff.
I get all kinds of emails from parents regarding recruiting, as one can imagine. Some ask what his son can – if he has camped everywhere, but has no “offers? ” Some ask what his son can do to get more exposure – if camps did not get it done?
